Treasury Manager

Job Introduction

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Manager to join our team located in Edison, New Jersey. In this role, you will be leading the Accounts Payables department, managing and forecasting our cash flow, insurance and contributing to various projects within our expanding organization. You will also be expected to work closely with the Controller, providing instrumental insights and analyses to drive business decisions.

Main Responsibility

As a Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance of the Treasury and cash management policy, the Accounts Payables process, supporting the Shared Services department and making recommendations to the Controller on cash efficiencies. You will also ensure the General Ledger and Accounts Payables Sub ledger are in balance and the respective balance sheet accounts reconciliations are performed accurately. On-time reporting and month-end close activities are also key responsibilities of this role.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, a cheerful outlook and will need to be comfortable communicating and interacting with members outside the accounting team as this role has frequent and significant interaction with the shared services team in the UK, Procurement, Supply Chain and multiple third parties.  

Skills and qualifications include:

  • 5+ years in Supervisory Treasury role with multiple direct reports
  • Strong experience in cash management and banking practices
  • Strong experience in an accounting environment with general knowledge of accounting systems and best-in class processes for transacting in general ledgers
  • Self-motivation and orientation to detail
  • Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong software knowledge and experience.
  • Current with regulations affecting the industry and effects upon the company.
  • Strong controls background.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
