Marketing Manager (Global Shopper) GTR

As the Global Travel Retail (GTR) Shopper Marketing Manager, you will sit in the centre of our global business unit, working across the entire region to drive excellent shopper marketing campaigns with the travelling consumers. This will involve working closely with our marketing, customer marketing and adapt agency teams to create and deliver best in class assets and toolkits, and ensure the William Grant and Sons portfolio to deliver omni-channel shopper marketing campaigns & activation tools that drive conversion of our brands. You will also lead the development of our Standards of Execution (QDVAA) to deliver maximum engagement at the point of purchase to convert shoppers.

The Shopper Marketing Manager will be the expert voice of the shopper by identifying missions / occasions and the relevant activation thereof – in collaboration with the  GTR insights manager, GTR brand teams and GTR commercial planning & activation lead and other relevant parties, including in-region teams.  You will be the bridge between Commercial and brand, ensuring our brand campaigns have cut -through in our crowded retail and airport environment  fully aligned to our Standards of Execution.  Lead the creation of the Standards of Excellence (QDVAAA) for specified WG&S Brands, in collaboration with the brand teams and the global category development team for refining into Minimum Execution Standards and global GTR deployment. Find and leverage shopper insights to create engaging in-store activations that drive stand-out, trial and/or rate of sale while building our brands. Be the Champion shopper marketing principles across the GTR business through best practice sharing and illustration of the effectiveness of strong shopper insight-based executions.

Notre candidat idéal

Our ideal candidate is required to bring 2-3 years of experience in brand, trade/shopper and/or region marketing in the spirits or consumer packaged goods industry. In addition, our ideal candidate will clearly demonstrate strategic thinking and the ability to be highly organised and with excellent planning skills, prioritizing choices where appropriate and have strong problem solving skills.  In APAC region experience and an Asian language is an advantage.
