Job Introduction
The role of Commercial Financial Analyst – Southern Europe, UK&I and France sits in the Branded Business Unit (BBU) Finance team and supports the regional team in achieving their financial objectives in a timely, compliant and effective manner. The Branded Business Unit (BBU) is at the heart of William Grant & Sons, and is responsible for the development, growth, and sale of our award-winning brands to customers globally.
Working in the BBU Commercial Finance team is the opportunity to work with both Marketing and Commercial teams, across the Southern Europe, UK&I and France region, on our global brands. Main Responsibility
- Running month end submission and reporting
- Managing planning to payment through our systems
- Produce or improve insightful reporting and analysis to your business partners
- Become a trusted advisor to your Commercial Finance Team, who can both challenge and support decision-making
- Guiding our Marketing and Commercial teams in the delivery of their budget, making sure they stay on target and highlighting any risk or opportunity to the business
- Supporting the Commercial Finance Team with ad hoc requests to support the Marketing and Commercial teams
Our Ideal Candidate
You will be a qualified / part qualified accountant with strong financial skills, with accuracy and compliance embedded in everything that you do. You will be able to work autonomously when required but be comfortable playing an active role in supporting others to deliver larger projects. You will also be confident in your abilities to communicate (both verbal and written) well with and build rapport with stakeholders and leaders across the business and be able to establish positive working relationships with individuals across the globe, remotely. You will be used to operating in a very dynamic environment with regular and tight deadlines. You will be solution-orientated, with a get up and go attitude, proactively suggesting and implementing new ways of working to improve our efficiency and effectiveness
