Commercial Finance Analyst - BBG

Job Introduction

We are seeking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to support our BBG division. In this role, you will aid in budgeting and forecasting, helping the team achieve financial goals through detailed financial reporting and analysis. You will collaborate closely with the Commercial Finance Director and the divisional sales team to drive financial performance.

This role can be home-based within the BBG & Control States Division or based out of our offices in New York, NY or Edison, NJ on a hybrid basis.

Main Responsibility

In this role, the Commercial Finance Analyst will prepare financial reporting and analysis for Depletion, Customer Discounts, A&P spend and Business Review Package to ensure Region Financial goals are achieved. They will also assist the sales team and Commercial Finance Director in budgeting, forecasting and R&Os by preparing depletion and A&P templates, uploading data, and checking pricing in IFS. In addition, this role will provide support with the year-end accrual process. Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. To succeed in this role, you should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in MS Excel. 

Other skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field is required; Master’s Degree in Business Administration or earning Certification in Public Accounting desirable
  • Minimum 2 years management experience in accounting/finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • International exposure in a multi-currency environment
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Skills in IS skills including ERP, BI and PC skills, including Hyperion
  • Self-motivation and orientation to detail
  • Strong communication & organizational skills
