The Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an exceptional visitor experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre. Reporting to the Visitor Centre Team Leader, this position combines operational coordination, team leadership, administration, and customer engagement to ensure the highest standards of visitor satisfaction, brand representation, and commercial performance.
Working closely with the Visitor Centre team, marketing teams, tour operators, and internal stakeholders, the Coordinator helps create memorable experiences for visitors while supporting the growth and reputation of one of Ireland's most iconic whiskey brands.

Support the Visitor Centre Team Leader in the daily operation of the Visitor Centre, ensuring a consistently high standard of service and visitor experience. Compile and provide monthly reports on operational performance, staffing matters, and business activities, while participating in weekly operational meetings to communicate priorities, discuss key issues, and support the smooth running of the Centre.
Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members, helping to resolve operational and staffing challenges. Assist in leading, motivating, and developing the Visitor Centre team in line with company values, supporting employee performance and ensuring all team members receive appropriate training and development opportunities.
Engage with visitors in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner, sharing knowledge of the Tullamore D.E.W. brand and products to enhance the overall visitor experience and drive appreciation of the portfolio. Ensure the highest standards of presentation, customer service, and visitor engagement are maintained throughout the Centre.
Assist with the preparation and management of staff rotas to ensure appropriate staffing levels across all Visitor Centre activities. Monitor attendance and communicate absenteeism and staffing concerns to the Team Leader as required.
Build and maintain strong relationships with tour operators and external partners, ensuring bookings are accurately coordinated and communicated to the wider team. Maintain up-to-date booking records, calendars, and administrative systems to support efficient operations.
Ensure all visitor-facing areas, including the bar, retail space, and event areas, are appropriately staffed, stocked, and prepared for visitors at all times. Support stock ordering activities and assist with regular stocktakes to ensure operational requirements are met.
Work closely with the Team Leader and relevant stakeholders to ensure EPOS procedures are adhered to and that sales figures, visitor numbers, and restaurant covers are accurately recorded and reported.
Coordinate the resolution of maintenance and facility-related issues, helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for visitors and employees. Support the planning and delivery of events, corporate visits, and VIP experiences, working closely with the Tullamore D.E.W. marketing team and other internal stakeholders as required.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, organised, and customer-focused professional with experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, visitor attractions, or a similar customer-facing environment. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build positive relationships with visitors, colleagues, tour operators, and business partners.
They will demonstrate strong organisational and administrative capabilities, with the ability to coordinate bookings, schedules, stock management activities, and operational priorities effectively. A proactive and solutions-focused approach is essential, together with the confidence to make decisions and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting, coaching, or guiding colleagues and will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. They will be comfortable working with reporting tools, Microsoft Office applications, and EPOS systems, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Above all, they will be a team player who demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to upholding the values of Tullamore D.E.W., ensuring every visitor enjoys a memorable and engaging experience.
This is a Fixed Term contract until 29/09/2027.
The salary range for this role is Euros 36,443 to 50,066.
