To lead all projects associated with the strategic development and implementation of PSC capital investment Programme across all WGS Global Packaging facilities. To deliver performance and results in line with the overall PSC strategy ensuring operations are compliant in relevant legislation, delivered in time and in line with agreed spend.

- Execute key Packaging & Supply Chain strategic development projects as identified within the Packaging & Supply Chain change agenda.
- Work cross functionally to manage and co- ordinate resources to ensure that strategic project plan targets are achieved in accordance with agreed scope, time and within business constraints. Ensuring that the final project is developed in line with the needs of key stakeholders, within the defined Process, ‘fit for purpose’, & compliant to all applicable legislation.
- Provide monthly progress status to Technical Director against programmed projects, identifying risks and implementing any remedial action plans whilst recognising/ highlighting any future opportunities
- Present to Exec team members (OBU & BBU) on status of global strategic development projects, advising them of risks and offering business practical solutions ensuring that key Financial and Operational measures have been evaluated.
- Support the Global Technical Director in the ongoing evaluation and development of future continuous improvement, production optimisation process and systems opportunities in relation to best practice centred on achieving world class packaging engineering performance.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency of knowledge and understanding of Strategic Development Strategy, and to ensure alignment of change processes to business needs and customer expectations.
- Manage the Strategic Development Project spend against agreed budget to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Support the WG&S Brand Teams in the development and implementation of strategic brand packaging change projects in support of the Operations and Branded Goods business.
- Support senior members of the NPD team to ensure that the final product is developed in line with the operational & technical needs of key stakeholders, within the defined NPD Process, to scope, on-time and within budget.
- Lead, motivate and develop the Engineering team in line with Company Values to maximise employee engagement. Promote, develop and embed a “one team” approach to Engineering in support of the delivery of a Global technical function

You’ll be adept at risk management, providing clear progress updates to senior leadership, and developing practical solutions for complex challenges. A background in packaging engineering or supply chain management, along with a proven track record in continuous improvement and production optimization, is essential. You should excel at building relationships with stakeholders and driving alignment across functions.
