Stock & Inventory Controller - FTC to October 2027

Aufgaben

We’re seeking a proactive Stock & Inventory Controller to join our Bellshill team on a fixed term basis until October 2027.

You will be responsible for planning and managing finished goods replenishment across the Branded Business Unit, hubs, and inventory locations as well as managing order-to-despatch process for ODCs. You’ll maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer service and coverage targets while balancing working capital, using DRP software (OMP) to position inventory correctly and IFS10 to manage the order‑to‑despatch process.

  • Oversee the replenishment of finished goods, ensuring hub and inventory locations are kept at agreed stock levels. Balance inventory optimisation with meeting customer service expectations.
  • Utilise Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) tools such as OMP to action system recommendations, positioning stock in the right place at the right time.
  • Manage the full order-to-despatch process within IFS10 to support DRP activities.
  • Coordinate export shipments and work closely with Freight Forwarders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare and manage export documentation, including customs and shipping paperwork.
  • Anticipate and address supply risks, responding quickly to shifts in demand to safeguard continuity of supply for customers.
  • Support the launch of new products by coordinating with Demand Planning, Customer Service, NPD, and supply chain teams.
  • Work closely with warehouse partners and PLM to investigate root causes, reconcile inventory monthly, and ensure all purchase orders are closed by month end.
  • Administer distribution orders to consignment sites, including load planning, containerisation, preparation of shipping documents, and liaising with 3PL providers to resolve daily escalations.
  • Produce monthly stock reports covering inventory levels, coverage, and analysis of slow-moving or obsolete items to drive KPI improvements.

Unser idealer Kandidat/in

  • Comprehensive understanding of global supply chain processes and procedures 
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret statistical data using ERP system and reporting tools 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy across all aspects of your work
  • Positive, adaptable, and customer-focused, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of HMR&C, shipping terms and documentation requirements
