To support the delivery of accurate and consistent financial and management information to support business decisions across the fast paced and highly commercial Global Travel Retail (GTR) business unit.
Lead key aspects of the financial planning and reporting function within GTR including month and year end. Ensuring data integrity in core systems and accurate and timely financial information. To provide strong commercial finance analysis with a focus on driving improved sales performance and profitability through sales mix, promotional effectiveness of Customer Discounts and Advertising and Promotional spend.

Business Performance Management
- Support the annual 5 year strategic plan, Budget and LE process for total GTR, providing key insights on growth drivers and performance by region, key customer and brand.
- Supporting the planning, co-ordinating and delivery of the processes as detailed within the Finance Calendar to ensure the integrity of the data and report ‘one version of the truth’ while adhering to timescales.
- Be a Business Partner to the GTR team, with specific responsibility for certain areas. Instigate monthly business area reviews and use functional expertise to challenge the numbers and generate commercial insights.
- Deliver high quality and well maintained excel based forecasting models
- Maintenance of annual product allocation for total GTR.
- Provide analysis on business performance through external data such as (but not limited to) depletion report and triangulate the trend between depletion data and shipment reports for key customers.
- Provide financial support, ad hoc analysis and meet project requirements to the GTR team as required, with a focus on supporting delivery of the GTR strategy.
Financial Controls
- Responsible for GTR financial accounting - overheads accruals, and others as required. Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information flows.
- Provide support for ad hoc administrative duties – raising PO for overheads related expense
- Responsible for analysis and monitoring of total A&P, CDs and GTR Overheads. Ensure accurate recording of costs in WG&S books
- Responsible for the Intercompany recharges for GTR.
- Ensure appropriate levels of financial controls operating across the GTR Region.
System and Process
- Ensuring systems and process excellence is delivered every time.
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity of data in the budget systems, and the data integrity of all outputs from the various system.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert for Hyperion system and support the FP&A manager to provide training to end users.
- Review finance and business processes on an ongoing basis. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and propose / implement these with input from the GTR Head of Finance as appropriate.
