The role of Senior Finance Analyst in Group Finance is to work to deliver group level reporting and analysis, in line with the requirements of the finance calendar and business stakeholders.
Responsabilité du rôle
Utilising various WG&S systems and data sources, together with narrative information gathered via strong relationships across the Group, you will produce group level reporting and explain the resultant business performance in reporting delivered to stakeholders. You will provide value-add insight which will influence the strategic decisions made in the business.
You will develop, and deliver to, the month end timetable and ensure adherence to this timetable by all teams who provide reporting to the Management Reporting Team.
You will work closely with a variety of people throughout the Group, building your network both internally in Group Finance and with a number of contacts based at the many different locations William Grant & Sons operate around the globe.
Understanding, and effectively utilising, the WG&S data systems will be pivotal to the role, along with the ability to identify trends and anomalies in data and having a strong understanding of what drives financial performance. You will build a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics in each Business Unit and use that insight to support stakeholders in building capability and performance.
