Senior Audience Insights Manager

Within the Global Marketing function sits the Insights & Analytics team, whose purpose is to make the business more human through data and insight, to create value by bringing the outside in. The Insights and Analytics team will drive the next chapter of growth in the business, partnering with brands to become more human centred to understand & ideate with them on their audiences and occasions. This role forms an integral part of our Insights and Analytics team.

Main Responsibility

This role will focus on generating actionable insights on audiences and occasions to create experiences that drive brand objectives. This role will be responsible for defining our brand personas to express audiences and occasions. You will define common and nuanced path to purchase customer occasion journeys, validate with end users and explore ways to monitor data elements e.g. Google Analytics. This person will devise ways to evaluate marketing activations online and co-create Digital and Non-Digital experiences with the Brand Teams and local markets to drive engagement, conversion and explore how to scale efficiently.

Our Ideal Candidate

Lives and breathes consumer centric thinking, using data to create compelling insights, drive decisions and ideation. Has a proven ability to convey ideas and inspire change through data and insights. A strong collaborator who has deep functional knowledge, you will have a persuasive and simple approach to driving the adoption of ideas and insights.

We’re looking for an individual experienced in strategic human centred design roles, using design thinking and lean in agile environments to unearth unmet functional, social and emotional needs. You will have a consultative and partner approach, working with stakeholders to understand core business challenges to articulate a brief and design scrappy experiments to validate hypotheses.

The following skills are essential for our ideal candidate:

  • Must have conducted a/b testing on facebook of comms, audiences and understand how to create & evaluate audiences. Ideally has done landing page experiments also.
  • Must have clear evidence of being consumer led (experience of creating personas / using journeys to identify frictions / pain points and ideation).
  • Positive energy, confident and able to build relationships and lead change. Ability to cope with ambiguity / change.
  • Ideally has global not just UK project / brand experience. (Plus points for China/US).
