Step into a pivotal Finance Transformation programme role and help shape the future of Finance. As Record to Report [“R2R”] Workstream Manager, you will help transform core finance processes, strengthen control, improve efficiency and enable better financial insight across the business. 

Reporting to the Record to Report Workstream Lead, you will coordinate delivery across the end-to-end R2R scope, including period-end close, journal governance, intercompany, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation, financial controls, and statutory and management reporting. 

Working closely with Finance, programme and operational stakeholders, you will turn process design into practical, sustainable change and help build a more standardised, controlled and insight-driven R2R operating model. 

This is a 2 year fixed-term contract to support the delivery of our Finance Transformation Programme.

  • Helping design and implement the R2Rtarget operating model, with clear ownership, consistent ways of working and strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinating improvements to period-end close, including calendars, dependencies, hand-offs, governance and escalation routes.
  • Strengthening journal governance, approval requirements, evidence standards and controls.
  • Driving consistent balance sheet reconciliation practices, including ownership, review standards and issue resolution.
  • Improving ways of working across intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, consolidation and financial reporting.
  • Shaping standardised statutory and management reporting processes, including requirements, data needs, ownership and timetable coordination.
  • Partnering with controls, policy and finance stakeholders to ensure the R2R design supports a strong financial control environment.
  • TranslatingR2R process requirements into the system, data and reporting needs required for the IFSERP Upgrade and rollout.
  • Managing dependencies with adjacent processes and enabling capabilities, including master data, source systems, tax, treasury and business unit finance teams.
  • Defining R2R KPIs while supporting change, communications and stakeholder readiness.

You will be a well organised, delivery-focused finance professional who enjoys turning complex processes into clear, practical solutions. You will bring strong R2R experience, a good understanding of financial controls and governance, and the confidence to work across Finance, programme teams and operations. Experience in finance transformation, process redesign, continuous improvement or ERP-enabled change would help you make an immediate impact. 

This Role Would Suit: 

  • A finance professional with strongR2Rknowledge and a passion for improving how things work.
  • Someone who understands key R2R activities, including period end close, journals, reconciliations, intercompany, fixed assets, consolidation and reporting.
  • Someone who can apply financial control, governance and compliance principles to process design and improvement.
  • A strong communicator who can build alignment across finance, programme and operational teams.
  • A proactive colleague who wants to help shape a modern, standardised and trusted Finance operating model through our Finance Transformation programme.
