Product Lifecycle Analyst

Job Introduction

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Product Lifecycle Analyst to join our wonderful team in Bellshill, to manage, maintain, and report on the product lifecycle management processes to ensure effective and efficient use of systems to minimise obsolescence and unnecessary costs to the business.

Main Responsibility

  • Coordinate a cross functional PSC team, driving adherence to the end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, ensuring accountability for actions and master data alignment
  • Communicate and progress agreed actions with key stakeholders within PSC and chair the weekly obsolescence review, developing and maintaining a PLM dashboard and integrating business rules for minimum volumes
  • Manage the obsolescence & end of life processes in line with agreed projects & SLAs
  • Analyse finished goods & raw material obsolescence, ensuring cost is minimised and correctly allocated
  • Identify improvements to streamline the PLM processes, to reduce turnaround times improve scenario planning to reduce obsolescence
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly reports on all products, identifying trends and supporting improvement initiatives.
  • Drive the continuous clean-up of master data in IFS, and reduction of the SKU portfolio in line with PLM analysis
  • Participate and contribute to team performance by engaging in team meetings and taking an active part in problem solving activities
  • Work collaboratively with peers and colleagues and apply learnings from identified training and development activities required to perform in role.
  • Follow and comply with all WGW processes, standards, and guidelines in the performance of your role, reporting any non-conformances in a timely manner.

Our Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably mathematical or finance based
  • Understanding of end to end global supply chain processes and procedures
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret data and related cost implications across multiple systems
  • Proven track record of managing data related projects within a global FMCG environment.
  • Experience of influencing and engaging with all levels of a business, globally
  • Competency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Visio and SharePoint)
