In our Operations Business Unit, Process Safety Engineers promote the highest levels of Process Safety Management, keeping us compliant with both legal requirements and our internal engineering standards.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference by working in partnership with site HSE and Engineering teams, advising on process safety and identifying opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Working closely with a range of stakeholders as their subject matter expert, you’ll support them with specific tools, processes and interventions to meet their needs. You can expect to drive compliance through regular and project-based activities.

With a background in Chemical Engineering or a similar technical discipline you’ll be an expert in process safety and have specialist experience with at least one of HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, RAM and hazardous area classifications. It’s possible you’ll already have a NEBOSH diploma or certificate but we’ll also consider relevant hands-on safety experience. You’ll be used to and motivated by developing and influencing strong stakeholder relationships, and operate with a continuous improvement mindset.
