Packaging Development Coordinator (FTC until Dec 2025)

Job Introduction

William Grant & Sons are currently looking for a Packaging Development Coordinator, for a fixed term contract until December 2025, to work in partnership with Bottling Hall teams and with other business function stakeholders in order to deliver meaningful, considered change programs that will deliver long lasting benefits for the Bottling Hall and to support project engineering functions with implementation of large capital spend projects.

Main Responsibility

  • Work with Bottling teams to understand current limitations of equipment and processes, then work with project engineering team to provide solutions as part of project delivery. Provide detailed operational feedback and insights to project engineering teams that steers project team thinking towards a best fit solution for Bottling
  • Work within wider project team to deliver and maintain the best fit OEE system across Bottling Hall, adopting a continuous improvement culture.
  • Develop and maintain best fit Visual Management methodology across Bottling Hall
  • Leverage existing business tools such as IFS, GEMBA, Q-Pulse etc to understand how we can use them more effectively to produce opportunities for Bottling
  • Devise best in class training and competency framework for Bottling Hall , working with Packaging Team Leaders to devise resource planning methodology to enable ongoing training.
  • Provide guidance and direction to Bottling teams in order to transform current Standard Operating Procedures and training aids.
  • Maintain internal compliance audit calendar and ensure sufficient internal audit resource is trained and available

Our Ideal Candidate

We seek to find a candidate to work and support the bottling team in all areas of the business including safety, quality, performance, cost, and projects.  This will also include accelerating the development and implementation of the Digitalisation projects across the bottling hall.  Also supporting the team member training programme to meet skills requirements. Build broad support and involvement in CSR everyday efforts and programmes and support CPSA department.
