We have an exciting opportunity for a Mature Spirit Planner to join the Supply Chain Planning Team at our Girvan distillery. The Mature Spirit Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling of all areas of mature spirit supply for internal bottling requirements and the external bulk supply chain. Working closely with the Spirit Supply and Whisky stocks teams the successful candidate will be pivotal in delivering excellent customer service as well as improving efficiency and cost for operations.

The successful candidate will collaboratively plan and schedule mature spirit for tipping to meet customer orders and internal requirements for the bulk supply chain. They will be responsible for delivering plans that meet agreed customer deliveries and service agreements, measure performance against KPI’s and be a first point of contact for external customers. The successful candidate will plan the replenishment of all core spirits to vat halls at internal sites and will be responsible for mature spirit availability across the supply chain. They will also be involved in delivering the true net productivity (TNP) agenda and cover areas of continuous improvement including new planning technology and systems and maintaining the core lean flow principals and planning parameters.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record within the Planning & Scheduling environment (including planning systems and end to end Supply Chain experience), preferably in a drinks or FMCG environment. They should also be able to demonstrate experience and success in customer facing environments. Knowledge of team performance systems and lean methodology, and the whisky supply chain will be an advantage.
