JOB OPPORTUNITY
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal and Compliance Administrator to join the Global in-house Legal Team at William Grant and Sons. The role will involve supporting the Head of Legal Compliance and the wider Legal Team in all areas of compliance work, but with particular focus on the anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), know your customer (KYC), data protection and competition law compliance programmes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will focus on the due diligence screening checks of new customers and suppliers in accordance with our ABC and KYC processes. There will be a variety of other responsibilities, which will include company secretarial tasks, providing support to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, administrative tasks, including setting agendas and taking minutes at meetings and providing general support to the wider Legal Team with ad-hoc tasks such as managing office supplies and raising Purchase Orders.

ABOUT YOU
You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to strict timeframes. You will have strong computer literacy (Excel, word, MS365, Sharepoint) and will be confident operating independently to find solutions to problems and to establish improved ways of working. Experience of compliance processes (e.g. KYC or other due diligence processes) is essential.
