Job Introduction

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual who would like to create their own legacy at an independent family distillery.

Main Responsibility

Accountable for the independent operation of the distilleries unit operations process equipment and assets effectively. Safely and efficiently delivering  the required unit operations volume to the right quality. Required to anticipate and solve routine process problems and correct alarm situations within unit operation. To operate and optimise the process, ensuring repeatable, consistent and efficient performance to production schedule. Documenting and controlling and recording  all process records and process parameters, using Lean principles to identify benefits.

Our Ideal Candidate

Prior manufacturing plant operations experience including familiarity with distributed process control system in manufacturing.  Demonstrable knowledge of problem solving techniques, confident working in a variety of environments that include field and desk work. Strong numerical ability with equivalent National 5/GCSE Maths, English, Chemistry or a technical qualification is advantageous
