If so, we have an excellent opportunity available for an Insights Manager to make a difference at William Grant & Sons. You will have responsibility from day one, feeling ownership of your projects, whilst receiving continuous coaching and mentoring. You’ll use your natural curiosity to discover what consumers want, why they want it and how we can influence them, through immersive exploration, analysis, and great research.

You’ll be reporting into the Head of Insights & Analytics. Get ready for a lot of great exposure to senior internal stakeholders across our portfolio of award-winning brands!

Responsabilité du rôle

As an Insight Manager you’ll be a key strategy consultant, whose role it is to ensure that consumer analytics and market insights are the foundations of our business strategy and execution. You will work on multi-functional business teams to constantly explore new opportunities for business growth and fuel the organisation with insights to inform retailer, category, and brand strategies.

This will include:

  • Acting as a strategic thought-partner to marketing and the wider business to ensure that the objective voice of the consumer is considered in key business discussions and decisions
  • Understanding shopper behaviour by designing and leading immersive consumer research
  • Managing the implementation of the team’s consumer and shopper data strategy
  • Discovering growth opportunities and supporting brand planning by integrating data from various sources into relevant models or frameworks
  • Driving strong business recommendations by translating and visualising complex data sets into simple and actionable conclusions
  • Partnering with marketing teams to measure and evaluate key activities, to determine their effectiveness and to drive future efficiencies and optimisation
  • And challenging the status quo by uncovering new ways of running shopper and market research

Your key to success will be your ability to build on and combine communication skills with analytical skills to convey research findings and drive actions with your key business partners across levels and functions

Notre candidat idéal

Our ideal candidate will be an Insights Manager with strong insight storytelling skills, which will allow influence across the business. Commercially minded, understanding marketing principles and how brands are managed in order to grow.

They will be a proficient consumer researcher displaying a broad & diverse range of knowledge across different consumer research disciplines (qualitative & quantitative). Highly numerate with analytical skills and the ability to prepare reports and presentations to tight deadlines

Rounded off with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within a diverse organisation.

No previous experience in the Spirits industry needed.
