Job Introduction
Branded Business Unit (BBU), made up of Brands, Marketing, Commercial, Route to Consumer, Business Analytics, Net Revenue Management, Luxury and Innovation, is the custodian of the Company’s main brands and is responsible for the development of these around the world. It is the vital link that connects the production of our world-class liquids with the distribution and sales channels managed by our Owned Distribution Companies and third-party distributors. Our GTS teams look after our core IT systems and are responsible for ensuring these systems perform and deliver an excellent user experience.
The role would support the Business Partner Leader to align Commercial technology solutions, strategies, and initiatives with the overall GTS and WG&S objectives assisting the Commercial function by leveraging IT resources to enhance employee experiences in support to streamline Commercial operations.
Main Responsibility
Your role will be to act as the liaison between Commercial and GTS, ensuring that Commercial needs are met through the development and implementation of appropriate technology solutions, that are aligned to the overall technology plan for the company.
You will work closely with Commercial leaders and teams to understand their technology needs and drive technology adoption within the Commercial function. As part of this you will collaborate with Commercial and GTS team to identify opportunities for system integrations that facilitate data sharing and workflow improvements. Leading or supporting technology projects related to Commercial systems, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to functional requirements will be part of your responsibility.
To ensure GTS apply appropriate governance and deliver an excellent user experience you will analyse, with your team, system performance and user feedback to ensure continuous improvement of Commercial technology solutions.
As a team leader within GTS, you will mentor your own team and promote collaboration across the GTS function and promoting a culture of curiosity and innovation. You will encourage a culture of curiosity, continuous learning and skill development among team members.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will have experience in Commercial processes, understanding of IT systems and the controls and governance needed to support these. You will have capacity to inspire and motivate team members, together with a background in leading teams effectively.
You should be a strong communicator, able to bridge the gap between Commercial and IT teams. Your ability to work collaboratively across team/functions and manage projects effectively will be essential in driving Commercial technology initiatives.
