IFS10 Reporting Project Manager (FTC)

Job Introduction

Manage the various internal and functional work streams of the reporting element of the program within agreed timeframe, while ensuring, the end solution meets the agreed business and technical requirements, project vision realisation, customer satisfaction and compliant with the program roadmap and in alignment with the overall Global Business Intelligence Strategy in both a consistent and scalable manner.

FTC until June 2023 initially. 

Main Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the end to end delivery of multiple work streams (functional, Business Analysis, Technical teams) within the IFS10 Reporting workstream. Including resources, issues, risks and timeframes. Work with Project leads to ensure all resources and requirements are properly planned and available.
  • Lead the detailed project activities through to delivery utilising expertise and project methodology to guide and influence resources to a successful outcome.
  • Maintain strong communication and escalation paths with all project stakeholders, utilise appropriate techniques to ensure full stakeholder engagement ensuring regular updates, work stream lead updates and items for escalation to IFS program are clearly identified and project meetings are undertaken, documented and actioned.
  • Ensure Reporting work stream is operating within the IFS Project PMO governance framework.
  • Work alongside functional workstreams and reporting workstreams to identify and prioritise report delivery based on IFS program testing schedule and functional requirements. Influence stakeholders to ensure all reports are aligned to the IFS delivery, make good business sense and have provide benefit to the organisation.
  • Ensure appropriate support is defined and handover to support is completed at end of project to agreed SLAs.
  • Ensure that all reports delivered back to the organisation have been fully tested and signed off by relevant project stakeholders.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to drive issues to resolution.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Proven project leader who can control a budget, manage the delivery of a solution, lead individuals within aggressive timescales, and ensure a successful result for the customer.
  • Demonstrable track record of project delivery working in an IT environment demonstrating a technical competence and understanding of modern IT and business practices.
  • Formally trained in project management and business analysis.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle methodologies, change control, technical infrastructure and IT service management.
  • Strong communication, process, logical thinking and organisation skills.
  • Capable of working across multiple, concurrent projects whilst maintaining independence of action, demonstrating the ability to prioritise activities and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Demonstrates a strong team working ethic and collaborative approach to delivery.
  • Ability to work across organisations and cultures
