Are you a strategic Health & Safety professional ready to shape global standards across a truly international business? William Grant & Sons is seeking a Global Health & Safety Leader – Non-Production to join our team at Bellshill. With over 2,800 employees across more than 50 locations worldwide, this role offers the opportunity to influence and elevate H&S practices across our non-production Business Units including distribution, marketing and central support functions. You’ll lead the development and implementation of robust governance, systems, and cultural maturity that protect our people and power our legacy.

  • Shape and refine the global H&S strategy for non-production environments
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver tailored improvement programmes across key business units
  • Build consistent reporting frameworks to track performance and drive action
  • Analyse H&S metrics, spot trends, and foster a strong culture of incident reporting and learning
  • Lead internal forums and contribute to strategic H&S conversations across the business
  • Identify key safety risks and help develop robust controls for the Group Risk Register
  • Design tools and training to elevate H&S standards across diverse non-production settings
  • Advise site leaders on legislative matters and promote culturally sensitive safety leadership
  • Oversee the Global Travel Risk Management programme to ensure compliance and governance
  • Champion diversity and inclusion, empowering every employee to build their personal legacy

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing global Health & Safety strategies across non-production environments.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance
  • Skilled in interpreting data and trends to inform strategic decision-making and drive performance.
  • Confident working with senior leadership and audit functions to influence safety culture and embed best practices.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage diverse teams across geographies and cultures.
  • Enthusiastic about creating safer workplaces through training, engagement, and cultural transformation.
