Finance Analyst

Job Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our OBU Finance team and play a meaningful role in supporting the financial performance of our global operations. As a Finance Analyst, you will sit at the heart of the business—working closely with finance and operational partners to deliver high-quality financial insight that drives confident, informed decisionmaking.

The role offers real variety and global exposure, allowing you to develop a deep understanding of global operations. You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape how we work, contributing to continuous improvement, strong governance and smarter ways of working across the global operations finance team.

Main Responsibility

  • Support the consolidation and analysis of operational results for month end reports, including the generation and review of KPI reporting
  • Support the delivery of the annual reporting timetable including strategic and annual plans to produce the consolidated Operations Budget, Latest Estimates and Five-Year Plans in accordance with group guidelines
  • Support the implementation of appropriate business analysis to identify trends, opportunities and risks, including analysis and follow up of month end reporting
  • Collate and communicate ad hoc analysis or explanations 
  • Assess processes, reporting formats and KPIs and recommend and implement  improvements, standardisation and automation where applicable 
  • Support the delivery of change or improvement projects including ensuring changes are communicated and understood by all relevant stakeholders
  • Review, produce and implement key financial and non-financial internal controls and procedures for the function where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers to maximise stakeholder engagement and the quality of service provision

  • Strong analytical capability and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with multiple finance systems and data sources, combined with aproblem-solvingmindset.
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across differentsitesand cultures.
  • A proactive and curious approach, with the confidence to question numbers, challenge performance and turn data into clear, meaningful insight.
  • A willingness to learn and develop, coupled with a genuine interest in how finance can support better commercial and operational decision-making.
