We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the Stocks Business Unit (SBU) Finance team based at Strathclyde Business Park. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced analyst or someone looking to take the next step in their finance career, with exposure to key reporting, planning and control activity across the business. The role supports the delivery of accurate financial reporting and insight, helping stakeholders make informed decisions while ensuring strong financial governance and compliance with Group policies and external requirements.

In this role, you will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, contributing to monthly management accounts, year-end processes, and Group reporting requirements. You will play an active role in the budgeting and forecasting cycle, helping to set, track and challenge financial assumptions and performance. The role also includes monitoring working capital, with particular focus on inventory, wood and warehouse capital, while ensuring robust financial controls and compliance with internal policies and external accounting standards. You will work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to provide meaningful analysis, support decision-making, and identify opportunities to improve processes. You will also contribute to the preparation of spirit rates and provide support on a range of ad hoc projects and business initiatives. This is a varied, hands-on role with strong visibility and the opportunity to make a real impact.
Nuestro candidato ideal
You will be a qualified accountant with strong Excel skills and a solid analytical mindset. You will be comfortable working with financial data, translating numbers into clear insights, and communicating confidently with a range of stakeholders across finance and the wider business. We are looking for someone who builds strong working relationships, takes ownership of their work, and brings a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting or controls would be advantageous, but just as important is the ability to learn quickly, adapt well, and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.
