Job Introduction
We’re looking for a Finance Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, planning and analysis for Global Marketing.
In this role, you will provide accurate and timely financial insight to enable effective decision-making, working closely with Global Marketing and Finance stakeholders. You will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, supporting planning cycles and embedding consistent ways of working across the finance team in line with the William Grant Way.
Working across Finance and Marketing teams, you will contribute to a strong control environment, continuous improvement in reporting processes and a collaborative, high-performing finance function.
Main Responsibility
- Supporting the delivery of monthly financial reporting, including month-end close, variance analysis and insightful commentary
- Assisting with financial planning cycles, including Budget, Full Year Estimate and 5 Year Plan
- Preparing clear analysis of financial performance against plan, highlighting key drivers, risks and opportunities
- Collating and communicating financial information and insight to stakeholders to support understanding and decision-making
- Building effective working relationships across Finance and Global Marketing teams
- Supporting continuous improvement of reporting processes, tools and outputs, contributing ideas and implementing changes
- Ensuring consistency, accuracy and integrity of financial data in line with group standards and controls
- Embedding the William Grant Way in day-to-day ways of working, supporting a collaborative and high-performing finance team
Our Ideal Candidate
You will bring strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of financial reporting, planning and performance analysis. You will take a structured and detail-focused approach, producing accurate and insightful financial outputs. You will be confident communicating financial information to a range of stakeholders, building effective relationships and supporting informed decision-making. You will demonstrate a proactive mindset, with a focus on data integrity, continuous improvement and strong ways of working. You will be motivated by delivering high-quality insight, supporting business performance and contributing to a collaborative finance environment.
This Role Would Suit
- A Finance Analyst or early-career finance professional with experience in reporting, planning or analysis
- Someone with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- An individual comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across Finance and Marketing
- A strong communicator who can explain financial information clearly and concisely
- Someone motivated by continuous improvement and delivering value through financial insight
