Demand Planner

Job Introduction

Our US Supply Chain team is growing and seeking a Demand Planner to join us!  The Demand Planner is responsible for working cross-functionally with the US Commercial and Finance Teams to ensure forecasts, risks, and opportunities are accurately reflected and aligned within the demand plan.

Main Responsibility

The Demand Planner's overarching responsibility is the management of the rolling 24-month forecast for their assigned US markets. Leading monthly forecast review meetings with the Divisional Teams. New Product Development (NPD) is an important part of our business, and, as the Demand Planner, a critical part of the process starts with you, as launch volumes, forecasts, and timings are fed to our global suppliers.  Additionally, beyond creating overall forecast alignment, this role must be able to proactively highlight risks and opportunities when the demand plan versus actual results are not aligned.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate has received a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business.  Previous Supply Chain Planning experience is required; ideally this experience is from the consumer goods industry.  The candidate must have extensive knowledge of forecasting principles, the S&OP process, and data analytics.

 

This role also requires the following skills and qualifications:
 

  • 3-5 years of forecasting and demand planning experience; a plus if it’s in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis is required
  • Proven time management and multiple task management capabilities
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to communication across cross-functional and Global teams.
  • Effectively influence both internal and external customers/relationships
