Data Engineer

Join the team as a Data Engineer and help us revolutionize the way we use data. You'll design and build robust data pipelines that transform raw data into actionable insights and champion the accuracy and integrity of our data!  In this role, you'll help shape strategies to ensure the reliability of our data assets.  Your analytical mindset and technical skills will help us build data products, establish data quality standards, monitor data health, and proactively identify potential issues. Be a key player in enabling informed decision-making, driving business efficiencies, and delighting customers by ensuring our data is trustworthy, helping us gain valuable insights. 

Rollenverantwortung

Supporting the Data Management Leader to build scalable data pipelines that incorporate data quality checks and validations.  Your analytical skills will enable you to analyse complex datasets using data manipulation tools to root out inconsistencies and errors.  Partnering with stakeholders across the business you will be able to understand data requirements and translate them into quality standards. You will be developing automated scripts to proactively identify and rectify data anomalies to ensure WG&S data is fit for decision-making. 

Unser idealer Kandidat/in

You will be armed with an analytical mindset, a passion for data, and enjoy solving problems, along with having a high-level understanding of how to structure data to support BI & analytics initiatives.  You have at least 2 years’ experience in working with data along with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.  You truly enjoy what you do, thrive on picking up new skills, and possess the ability to think independently and make sound decisions when required.
