Introduction à l'emploi
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to take the lead in developing and delivering the Group’s Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) process. Based within our Group Finance function, this role will play a key part in shaping our approach to sustainability reporting for our Global operations. You’ll also support financial and management reporting activities across the business, helping to ensure the timely provision of accurate insights that support strategic decision-making.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on working with data, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and wants to contribute to a more sustainable future through impactful reporting and analysis.
Responsabilité du rôle
You will be responsible for establishing a robust, scalable SECR framework across the Group, ensuring it meets current global regulatory demands and can evolve alongside future reporting requirements. Working closely with stakeholders from across the organisation, you’ll collect and manage key data, turning it into insightful analysis for both regulatory bodies and internal teams.
Your role will include delivering all SECR-related outputs, while also contributing to the wider finance agenda by supporting periodic reporting, board-level requests, and ad hoc projects. As part of a collaborative finance team, you’ll be encouraged to bring forward ideas for continuous improvement and help drive efficiencies across processes and systems.
Notre candidat idéal
You’re someone who combines strong analytical skills with a proactive, can-do attitude. Comfortable working independently, you bring a structured approach to planning and delivery and have a keen eye for detail. You’re confident engaging with stakeholders across multiple functions and take pride in producing accurate, meaningful outputs.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who have experience with SECR or an enthusiasm for corporate social responsibility initiatives, although this isn’t essential. A background in financial reporting or experience managing large data sets would be a strong advantage.
You’ll bring:
• Proven ability to collect, manage and analyse data effectively
• A track record of meeting deadlines with accurate, high-quality outputs
• Confidence communicating with internal stakeholders at all levels
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A self-starter mindset and a commitment to getting things right first time
It would be great if you also have:
• Previous experience with SECR or sustainability reporting
• An interest in CSR or ESG-related projects
• Experience working with large data models or financial systems
• A background in financial reporting or analysis
