The individual will lead and support key programs and new product launches. As a cross-functional role, the ABM regularly interacts with various functions, such as Finance, Commercial, and Analytics. The ABM assists with everything from P&L to advertising to trade programming.

Tullamore D.E.W.

Our whiskey is named after the town where we make it. We started distilling in Tullamore in 1829 and we’re still going strong. In our corner in the heart of Ireland, we don’t have a fancy resort, but we do have a world-class distillery where we make the world’s original triple-distilled, triple-cask-finished, triple-blended Irish whiskey. Monkey Shoulder

Main Responsibility

In this role, you will support the development of annual strategic and business planning to drive growth of Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey through excellent marketing execution. Specifically, you will take the lead or provide support in various key programs including creative development, PR/influencer/experiential programs, trade programming, shopper and e-commerce programs, paid media, and innovation launches. You will be responsible for ensuring visual brand identity consistency across all consumer touchpoints, such as product, packaging, and communications. You'll be tasked with effectively synthesizing data from multiple sources to identify issues, opportunities, and insights so that you can make recommendations for optimizing plans. You will work closely with sales to identify opportunities to expand business and provide marketing support in existing channels of trade. Day to day will include monthly business performance analysis to uncover and activate against business drivers, manage purchase orders, and track A&P expenses for the assigned brand. Understanding brand development levers like trend watching, consumer behavior analysis, agency support needs, and adherence to brand guidelines will be critical to one’s success in this role.  

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience at a world-class CPG company, alcohol beverage company or agency with 1+ year in brand management. In addition, our ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of leading projects from strategy to execution through to evaluation as well as managing cross functional teams or agencies. 

Other skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferable
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible brand management experience within the beverage/alcohol or consumer goods industry  
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and task management skills
  • Creativity in problem solving and communications development
  • Keen attention to detail with a specific focus on accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment and operate effectively in a less structured environment
  • Strong budget management and analytical skills; proficient in Excel
  • An understanding of the marketing mix and key levers to impact a brand’s performance
  • Experience in managing effective and positive key stakeholder relationships – both externally and internally
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills; effective teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
    The salary range for this role, based out of our NYC office, is $88,298-$102,142.
