Job Introduction
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Vat Hall Team Member to join us at our distillery in Dufftown where you’ll play a crucial role in the whisky journey, managing cask transfers, Tun emptying, Spirit Filtration, Tanker Loading and ensuring every batch meets our world-class standards. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality and consistency of our whisky, making sure every dram delivers the signature excellence we’re known for. Main Responsibility
- Disgorging of whisky between casks/tuns and vats
- Monitoring and maintaining quality control throughout the process.
- Liaising with Dufftown Spirit Supply Teams and Dufftown Planning Team to plan delivery of spirit to meet Bottling requirements within Vat Hall Capacity.
- Reduce and process spirit in order to meet bottling requirements.
- Upholding safety, compliance, and hygiene standards in a regulated environment.
- Contributing to process improvements while honouring traditional whisky methods.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a whisky or food production environment (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- A team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Passion for whisky and an appreciation for its craftsmanship.
