Technical Operations Analyst

Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Operations Analyst to support, maintain, upgrade and install Information Technology systems and applications used within the company to both maintain and enhance efficiencies and performance of the company’s Information Technology systems.

Main Responsibility

The successful candidate will proactively advise, assist and engage on delivery of underlying technical infrastructure to support the delivery of projects. They will ensure that second, and third line support requests are appropriately prioritized and resolved within the required service level targets and define and document the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures. They will maintain an awareness of industry technological developments and identify opportunities to implement new or improved enterprise solutions to provide a more efficient and effective service to the business. Provide project support, SME input and operational support across all Information Technology systems.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will be experienced in global operations delivery, support and data centre technologies including VM Ware and Microsoft Server technologies (e.g. Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange/Office 365,). They will have a specialist area of technical capability i.e. – Citrix, VMWare, RDS, SCCM, Storage, Compute and will hold certification in a technical specialism. Ideally they will have experience of working with both a BAU and Project environment and working knowledge of ITIL.
