Our 2023 Graduate Development Programme will offer opportunities to graduates in engineering, science, or technical disciplines.

Main Responsibility

  • Support, and where appropriate lead, technical and/or engineering development projects at a laboratory, pilot, and full-scale plant level in line with the operational business plans.
  • Support and lead initiatives that deliver optimisations to operational processes
  • Support research and development projects that provide insight to the development of processes across Operations distilling, packaging, and engineering operations.
  • Provide clear and concise technical project reports that detail conclusions and recommendations based on tangible technical data to Operations leader and/or Engineering Leader.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the integrated management system to maintain ISO9001 certification.
  • Contribute appropriately to team meetings and support the implementation of team strategy, plans and continuous improvement projects.
  • Take part in Graduate training initiatives and demonstrate progress against development plans across the graduate programme.
  • Drive own personal development to build technical competence, leadership capability and personal development.
  • Develop and build skills, knowledge, and experience in engineering and/or brewing and distilling that covers the WGS spirit drinks portfolio.
