Job Introduction
Our US Supply Chain team is growing and seeking a Supply Planner! The Supply Planner is responsible for managing the purchase plan and executing the inventory planning strategy in support of the demand plan. The role manages inventory to find balance between working capital targets and customer service level targets.
Main Responsibility
The Supply Planner drives a robust USA S&OP supply cycle with internal and external suppliers and with their expertise calls out risks and opportunities impacting the Company’s ability to meet business targets. They will partner with local and global production sites to determine optimal route to market. The Supply Planner will also partner with New Product Development (NPD) and Commercial Teams to ensure successful execution of all new products on time in full to market launch plans.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate has received a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business. Previous Supply Chain Planning experience is required; ideally a plus if this experience is from the consumer goods industry.
This role also requires the following skills and qualifications:
- 3-5 years of extensive knowledge of the supply chain process and S&OP principles; a plus if it’s in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis is required
- Proven time management and multiple task management capabilities
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to communication across cross-functional and Global teams.
- Effectively influence both internal and external customers/relationships
