Shopper Marketing Manager

Job Introduction

The Shopper Marketing team sits within Global Marketing, and plays a key role in delivering on marketing’s vision to ‘put people at the heart of our brands, building them for enduring fame’.

The Shopper team works on global shopper campaigns to create commercially savvy tools and assets that talk directly to the shopper whilst reinforcing the brand message and distinctive brand assets with the purpose of creating exceptional customer, shopper and consumer campaigns that convert into purchase of our iconic brands.

The Shopper Marketing Manager role is a key role in the building of our Shopper Marketing capability across our global brand teams as well as our wider business to maximise opportunities across our campaigns.

Main Responsibility

Identify the shopper mission / occasion and relevant channel activation opportunities for specified portfolio of WG&S brands, across paid / owned / earned touchpoints in collaboration with the Insights & Analytics, Global Brands and Commercial Planning & Category Development team and other relevant parties, including in-market teams.

Lead the creation of shopper activation materials, for specified WG&S brands, in collaboration with Global Brand teams based on identified brand growth drivers.

Lead Omnichannel shopper marketing campaigns that fully support our brand programs in collaboration with Global Brand teams, Advocacy, Connections & E-Commerce and Insights & Analytics teams.

Create portfolio shopper solutions for both Brand and Category that deliver against the growth drivers identified by the Commercial Planning & Category Development team for priority occasions (e.g. Gifting, Festive, After-Work etc.

Lead the creation of the Standards of Excellence (QDVAAA) for specified WG&S Brands, in collaboration with the Global Brand Teams that are cascaded to the Category Development team for refining into Minimum Execution Standards and global deployment
