Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Omnichannel Customer Execution Manager within the UK business looking after both the on & off-trade channels.
This role will lead the team, own budgets, set strategic direction and execute best in class activation across key customers in both channels. This role and the team play the essential role of delivering the triple win for our shoppers, our customer and WG&S, all within the two largest channels within our business.
Main Responsibility
Reporting into the Category & Customer Marketing Controller, this role will work alongside our Commercial and Marketing functions to ensure our brand & customer plans are executed brilliantly across the on & off-trade channels. Forming strong relationships with these functions, and others across the business, will be an important responsibility.
Leading a team of 7 who work across a range of customers from Tesco & Sainsbury’s all the way through to Stonegate & Matthew Clark. The role will be responsible for building capability & expertise of this large team ensuring constant improvement within the team. Settling objectives, reviewing performance and building key development opportunities will also form part of this leadership role.
Budgets ownership, strategic planning, capability building, activation execution and measurement and evaluation will all be key elements of the job holder’s remit. The role will also include agency management, as well as facilitating direct customer relationships.
The role also works along side the category management function and will support our insight journey on making informed and insightful recommendations to our business and our customer business. Ensuring the voice of the consumer & shopper lives and breathes through our brand & customer plans.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be a proven customer marketer with a strong track record of delivery in the off-trade (eg. Grocery, convenience, ecommerce) and the on-trade (eg. Bars, pubs & restaurants)
Experienced in both the off-trade & on-trade, the candidate will ideally have worked in a similar role either in Sprits or a comparable drinks or FMCG categories
They will be a commercial and/or marketing leader who can create, motivate and develop a high performing team within a dynamic environment.
Ideally with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, you must have experience of operating at a similar level within an FMCG environment and creating and leading strategy development.
