Quality Manager, Packaging

Job Introduction

Our USA Operations Business Unit is seeking a versatile, customer focused, individual to drive improvements in, and manage, both product quality and process compliance at its Edison, NJ bottling site.  This is a critical role responsible for optimizing bottled product quality in support of maintaining our global reputation for quality excellence within the spirits world. 

Main Responsibility

A typical day for this role includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Facilitate and drive improvement and compliance within the Integrated Management System 
  • Support compliance with all global food safety standards and regulations to maintain customer satisfaction  
  • Lead local consumer complaint process 
  • Represent the Quality Function on new and critical projects 
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders ensuring strong relationships, influence, and a quality centered approach 
  • Use sound approach and technique to enable the business to produce defect free product and build a solid quality foundation throughout the supply chain 

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate has a track-record of driving and managing quality excellence within a production environment, ideally at a FMCG or beverage/bottling organization.  They have in-depth audit and food safety technical experience, along with strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 22000, FEMAS, HACCP, and BRC.  Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills are essential, as is the demonstrated ability to lead a develop direct reports. At minimum a H.S. Diploma/GED is required, though higher education/technical degree is strongly preferred.  This position is not eligible for relocation reimbursement or assistance.
