Operations Finance Team Member

Job Introduction

As Operations Finance Team Member, you are part of an established team, providing administrative and financial assistance to ensure the efficient functioning of our office and site. The opportunity is varied and offers the opportunity to build strong relationships within William Grant & Sons.

Please note that this is role is a FTC until 31/12/2024

Main Responsibility

  • First line of communication for all office visitors, telephone calls and mail.
  • Support for purchasing activities and compliance with purchase to pay processes, ensuring purchase requisitions are raised and processed accurately and in line with policy.
  • Work with Accounts Payable ensuring site and wood suppliers are paid in accordance with terms & conditions and deadlines.
  • Undertake other Ops Finance/Site team duties such as petty cash, pool car management and customer invoicing.
  • Prepare intercompany billing schedule monthly and be the first point of contact for queries.
  • Support the site with Local Employee Forum administration duties including coordination of local giving.
  • Lead the annual site work wear order, collaborating closely with our supplier through the process.
  • Support the site staff shop including stock management, accurate recording of all sales and monthly stock takes.
  • Manage office stationery and consumables.

Our ideal candidate will be an excellent administrator, with excellent people skills, be diligent and ideally have experience of working in a role providing support to a busy site. The successful candidate will be able to make a good impression with colleagues and stakeholders in a professional and constructive manner.
