National Account Manager - Route to Market Scotland

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager within the UK Route to Market (RTM) team.  This role will require the person to deliver the company sales strategy to key regional customers in Scotland.

The purpose of this role to execute the RTM On Trade sales strategy in alignment with our cyclical 1- & 5-year plan/s. Delivering budgeted performance and activating brands ensuring we are acknowledged as a Premium Partner of Choice by customers.

Main Responsibility

The key responsibility of the role is to develop, implement, & revise customer plans to achieve the Company & Channel strategy profitability objectives. Ensuring forecast & financial accuracy targets are achieved through cohesive working with finance, supply and indirect Account Managers. 

A strong understanding of the company’s objectives and luxury ambitions is required within this role due to the region’s importance and customer base.

Maximising brand distribution and sales whilst ensuring the appropriate brand investment is targeted to the right consumers via the right outlets via the right route to market, utilising the route to market segmentation model & route to consumer guides. This role requires strong delivery and clear understanding of omni channel marketing platforms to drive sales.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate such having experience in customer facing roles, ideally within the drinks industry. Self-motivated and a desire to exceed customer expectations is a prerequisite as is the ability to exploit mutual business benefits.

You would also have excellent numeracy skills and the ability to identify insights from data, and lead initiatives to deliver objectives.  A high level of IT knowledge and strong understanding of digital media is required.
