Manager, Commercial Finance

Job Introduction

The Manager, Commercial Finance will maximize WG&S profitability by supporting the VP of Finance and Senior Director of Commercial and Marketing Finance to coordinate, consolidate and report on both volumetric and financial performance across the US markets, providing a central resource in achieving brand & financial goals. The Manager, Commercial Finance will also manage the Commercial Purchasing Analyst team (3-4 people) and support the commercial team’s usage of Trade Promotion Management system.

Main Responsibility

The Manager, Commercial Finance provides monthly business/sales analysis to business unit including depletion analysis (flash and mid-month), depletion P&Ls and NSV analysis. Additionally, they support the development of insightful decision making tools and analysis to drive financial performance and to deliver financial goals and objectives of the business unit. They will also manage and provide support to the Commercial Purchasing Analyst team while assisting the Senior Director, Commercial & Marketing Finance in the preparation of the monthly and year end APCD accruals for the commercial regions. Lastly, they will partner with Commercial teams, Ops and Finance leadership tracking year-end shipments focusing on DOI deliverable

Our ideal candidate has experience managing people/teams along with a strong commercial finance acumen, particularly in the spirits industry. Our ideal candidate also has strong analytical ability and business acumen with strong communication, organizational and task management skills. They also have effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
