Internal Auditor

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

The role of the Internal Audit function is to provide effective and efficient assurance to the Supervisory Board (via the Audit Committee), the Executive Committee and management concerning the adequacy of the internal control environment and the identification, assessment, and management of business risks. The role of an Internal Auditor is to support this objective through the delivery of internal audit reviews across the Group, principally working alongside Lead Internal Auditors and the Head of Internal Audit but also leading and delivering discrete audits, control assessments and risk projects

Main Responsibility

You will be delivering internal audit reviews and projects in line with our annual Internal Audit Plan, across the Group and spanning financial controls, operational processes, and regulatory aspects. This will initially involve supporting Lead Internal Auditors on larger reviews but will lead to the delivery of discrete audit reviews and activities, engaging directly with stakeholders to produce impactful recommendations that drive change and address risk, with clearly written reports of a high standard. You will also play an active role to maintain the operation and evolution of the Internal Audit function, its methodologies, working practices and reporting, applying previous experience in a way that makes the function even more effective and better able to serve the needs of our stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate

You will be a recently qualified accountant or internal auditor, perhaps with a little post-qualification experience but eager to learn about our exciting, fast-moving, and international business. You should possess excellent financial acumen and be able to approach problems with pragmatism and curiosity, developing relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. If you have a second (or third) language, even better!

We are a function that supports the business and you should therefore be comfortable travelling, occasionally at short notice, and spending time with colleagues at sites and in markets and functions across the globe.

You should be able to work autonomously when required but be comfortable playing an active role in supporting others to deliver larger projects and in the development of our own ways of working.
