William Grant & Sons is seeking a dynamic, forward‑thinking technology leader to elevate our global Technology Service function and support the growth of some of the world’s most iconic spirits brands.
As Head of Technology – Service, you will steward a business‑critical technology estate—ensuring resilience, security and performance while driving modernisation and alignment with long-term corporate objectives. You’ll lead high‑impact teams across applications and infrastructure, champion continuous improvement, and work closely with the Head of Technology – Delivery to ensure services evolve with the needs of the business.
With deep experience across service operations, infrastructure, enterprise applications, integrations and cyber governance, you will be confident influencing at senior and Board level, inspiring teams and navigating a complex, global environment.

Main Responsibility
- Deliver exceptional Technology Services aligned with the William Grant Way, focusing on scalability, security and continuous improvement.
- Lead global operations and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless service and strong performance.
- Build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, shaping technology solutions that advance business goals.
- Equip technical business partners to engage early and drive high‑value initiatives.
- Oversee application and system integration to ensure smooth, reliable interoperability.
- Uphold governance standards across policies, controls and compliance.
- Drive modernisation and innovation across the application support landscape.
- Collaborate across IT and business functions to prioritise and deliver key projects.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing, future‑ready team.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Significant senior IT leadership experience (8–12 years).
- Skilled in modernising legacy estates and building forward‑looking roadmaps.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, integrations, infrastructure and service operations.
- Experienced in cyber security, data privacy, governance and compliance.
- Confident operating in cloud‑first environments with awareness of emerging technologies.
- Strategic, influential and customer‑focused, with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Passionate about coaching, developing talent and building high‑performing teams.
