Job Introduction

The Global Innovation team have a unified agenda to act as ‘Growth seekers, creating future disruption for William Grant & Sons through Innovation.’ 

This role relates to the leadership of Content Innovation as the Global Head of Content Innovation.  

This is a new area for WG&S and is part of our Digital Transformation Agenda.  The resourcing proposed  is in service of building in-house capability in digital content, focused on agility, creative impact and efficiency (time & cost). The holding name for this team is the ‘Content lab’.

Main Responsibility

Build in-house digital capability that has dual purpose of:

  1. Creating a ‘2nd speed’(fast turnaround) digitally led workstream, focused on content creation, distribution and real time optimisation. This will be executed through agile Test & learn processes designed to strengthen understanding of target audiences, brand content effectiveness and consumer journeys.
  2. Building internal ‘digital/ social content literacy’ through ‘test and learn’ initiatives that thereafter get shared across brand teams in a continuous learning loop, informing larger scale campaigns.

Lead this new initiative internally,  acting as ‘MD’, as well as Project and Editorial lead, driving the ‘agile, digitally grounded capability and muscle’ within WG&S across content creation, distribution and digital analytics.

Our Ideal Candidate

Have the mindset to build. Organizational masterminds who excel in managing procedures and deadlines every step of the way. A good understanding of agile development methodologies. Ability to drive multidisciplinary teams, driving agile & iterative ‘test and learn’ processes eg Build, Learn, Adapt.  Strong digital marketing expertise with a flair for both the ‘art of creativity’ and the ‘science’ of marketing.
