Global Corporate Communications Specialist

Main Responsibility

You’ll be working with the Global Corporate Communications Manager to evolve and deliver a world class corporate communications strategy, supporting the senior leadership team to communicate key messages and initiatives across all business functions. We are trusted advisors to the business and you’ll do this by developing engaging comms plans and creative communications assets for key company projects.

Effective writing is critical to the role - as a team we take pride in ensuring all communications are developed in line with our corporate identity, and all written materials are consistent with the in-house style guide. We also love to look outside for creative inspiration and welcome candidates who stay up to speed with external best practice to inject fresh thinking and elevate the function's outputs. You’ll support the ongoing development and creation of content for our owned channels - for example, our new industry-leading intranet, our corporate website and LinkedIn, as well as the various channels we use to communicate our company news.

It’s a fast-paced and high performing team, so you’ll need to demonstrate the ability to self-motivate and use your own initiative to progress projects with stakeholders but also be open to collaboration with partner agencies and the rest of the team. Increasingly we are looking to data to inform decisions, this role will support in the development of measurement matrix to ensure we are being as effective as we can be.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of leading and delivering significant internal and external activities.
  • Desired experience: PR agency Senior Account Manager Level having worked with global business clients or similar in-house role.
  • An understanding of and interest in best-in-class DE&I programmes.
  • Extensive copywriting experience for internal and external audiences
  • Experience working with employees at all levels within an organisation, especially senior management.
  • Strict confidentiality.
  • Creative mind-set, passionate about corporate communications and a good knowledge of current trends in communications
  • Experience in social media tools and techniques, particularly LinkedIn
  • Highly PC literate; MS office. Strong Word and PowerPoint skills are essential.
