Job Introduction

The Global Insights & Analytics team sits within Global Marketing, and play a key role in delivering on marketing’s vision to ‘put people at the heart of our brands, building them for enduring fame’.

The purpose of the insight and analytics team is to make the business more human, to create value by bringing the outside in.

The role of the new analytics team is to put analytics and insight at the heart of our business and shape how we make sure it is our brands that consumers choose to drink at all the best occasions in their lives.

The Commercial Analytics Manager will be one of the core roles that establishes how we do this, with the opportunity to really get involved working with teams across the business to establish best practice processes, world class reporting and analytics and brilliant insight into the business.

Main Responsibility

To pioneer the use of analytics and data within the commercial community, embedding the use of key reports into the key business rhythm meetings.

To establish basic best practice around the use and management of commercial data, for example setting up key performance reports and establishing benchmarks.

To be the central point of ownership of commercial data and analytics, feeding high level insights into the brand and commercial teams to inform plans and activations.

Gather insights from our internal trade promotional platforms to drive insights into the business rhythm across brand & commercial planning.

To inform the 5 year and annual planning processes by delivering analysis on the optimum use of A&P across brands and countries.

Our Ideal Candidate

Has both deep functional expertise with regards data management and analytics (Power BI, Excel, Dev Ops & SQL) as well as brilliant business management skills with the ability to drive engagement and change through clarity of thought and presentation. Excellent data mining skills with previous exposure to and a clear understanding of commercial data (E.G. CRM, trade and the P&L) and analytics will also be key.

Has previously developed and launched reporting and analytics into a medium / large business.

Is a resilient self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast paced business environment and who can work on their own initiative.

Is able to prove an ability to bring disparate data sources together to create powerful reports that deliver insight and depth. Creative in approach to problem solving – with an ability to look beyond immediate barriers to find solutions.
