Finance Application Support Analyst

Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity, within the GTS Finance and Admin Product Team, for an experienced Finance Application Support Analyst

The Finance Application Support Analyst will support, administer and deliver the required business applications and associated projects in line with business requirements and service level targets.

Main Responsibility

  • Business As Usual System Support of Central Functions systems e.g. IFS
  • Support the ongoing delivery of the new Balance Sheet Reconciliation tool
  • Support testing for the upgrade of SharePoint 2019 across Finance & Central Services
  • Support our e-signature application
  • Manage and measure “my calls” (In and Out of Hours) to meet SLA targets ensuring the end customer is kept up to date and informed of progress
  • Working with the BRLS and the business to lead requirement gathering workshops
  • Design, configure, administer and support relevant business applications to deliver key business information and functionality to the business in the required format.
  • Liaise with relevant business leaders to confirm business
  • Develop required documentation

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Operational, Commercial and Group Finance process knowledge
  • Strong communication, process, logical thinking and organisation skills – individually driven to deliver results
  • Ability to work across the team organisations and cultures – team player
  • Capability to capture and develop high level requirements
  • Understanding of software and project Development Lifecycles and IT Service Management
  • Strong time management skills in order to balance workload
  • Complies with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role
  • Day to day knowledge of finance transactions

System knowledge:

  • Centralised planning, budgeting, and forecasting solution (i.e. Oracle Hyperion)
  • Integrated financial solutions - ERP (i.e. IFS, SAP)
  • Travel & Expense solution (i.e. Concur, Egencia )
  • Payroll Solution and services
