Job Introduction
Are you ready to learn and be challenged as part of a highly motivated, trusted team at the heart of a thriving business? Our Commercial Planning team is looking for a rare character to lead our Division Marketing strategy for our West team.
Main Responsibility
The Division Marketing Manager will lead the development of divisional and key geography marketing plans that align with our portfolio priorities, brand strategies, and market priorities for the RNDC West team. Along with development, this role will execute the go-to-market marketing strategies in collaboration with HQ Marketing team. They will collaborate with Distributor Marketing partners and local Commercial Teams with these initiatives as well as provide guidance in the allocation of Sales and Marketing resources to best achieve Division brand plans/objectives as well as build longer-term brand equity.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate is required to bring 3-5 years of experience in brand, trade/shopper, commercial, and/or marketing in the spirits or consumer packaged goods industry. In addition, our ideal candidate will clearly demonstrate strategic critical thinking and the ability to create strategic plans, prioritizing decisions, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration, is strongly preferred.
- A proven track record of developing working relationships and a strong business acumen.
- Experience in working with commercial teams- general sales or trade marketing
- Proven background in negotiation and managing budgets
- Experience leading brand communications and providing strategic guidance.
- Excellent communication & networking skills. Someone who can influence and excite people for an idea.
- An understanding of consumer trends, insights and culture in the region
- Ability to multitask and work in cross functional teams
- Ability to manage difficult, complex markets and achieve business objectives.
- Ability to travel throughout the dedicated region
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including proficiency with formulas and data analysis is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
This role is remote home-based in Northern or Southern California.
The salary range for this role, based out of Los Angeles, CA is $106,201 - $122,615.
