Data Operations Manager Depletions

Job Introduction

We are passionate about operationalising data at William Grant & Sons and are going through an Analytics Transformation journey. We are dedicated to working as Strategic Partners with the business, supporting them in achieving its business objectives by leveraging Commercial data and insights to drive informed data-driven growth. As we expand our Global Data & Analytics platform and analytics capabilities, we are seeking a talented Data Operations Manager responsible for the integration of customer depletions data and the deployment of BI reporting and tools.

Main Responsibility

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference by working in the Global Business Analytics team, expanding our data coverage and roll out of our data & analytics platform. You will be responsible for implementing our internal depletion data ingestion process. You will collaborate with data vendors and Global and local cross-functional teams internally to achieve the mission of growing our data availability which will be used to fuel the business with insights. The role will further enable our business to be better, smarter and more efficient with what we do with data & insights.  You will be the ultimate owner of depletions data definitions and systematic implementation of the analytics platform (backend core systems as well as visualization).

Our Ideal Candidate

With a proven track record in data operations management and analytics you will be able to accelerate our data ingestion and management plans ensuring that this can be used to develop winning actionable insights for the business. You will have excellent critical thinking, analytical, data mining and Excel skills. You are curious, flexible, pro-active, and eager to learn. You are used to and motivated by developing and influencing through strong stakeholder relationships and operate with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience in managing and overseeing enterprise level programs, which require significant collaboration across various cross functional groups in a matrix organisation. We are looking for a rare character that thrives in a dynamic environment.
