Customer Relations Coordinator (6-months contract)

Job Introduction

To ensure excellent customer service to internal and external customers to support the effective operation of the supply chain.

Main Responsibility

  • Process sales orders daily, ensuring key customer attributes are met in line with commercially agreed terms of sale, enter onto ERP system. Ensure documents are prepared accurately and in a timely manner, delivered to customer in line with customs clearance requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing the best service experience at every opportunity through timely responsiveness, courteousness and proactive problem solving.
  • Support commercial in any distributor changes, adhering to business guidelines.
  • Strong partnership and collaboration with 3rd party logistics provider and global freight forwarding partners to ensure on time delivery in full.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and good recording system of documents and processes.
  • Other supply chain & Logistics duties/project/ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Our Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Diploma / Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experiences handling purchase orders, customers’ orders, import and export shipment and international trade.
  • Basic understanding of Supply Chain procedures and processes gained in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience.
  • Has a proactive and self-motivated to get things done whilst being supportive of others in the team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills / relationship building with respective stakeholders and drive for performance for operational efficiencies.
  • Fair understanding on the incoterms and trade compliance experience.
  • Proved ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of system and PC applications such as Word, Excel, PPT is essential.

  • Strong initiatives and ability to work independently and within a dynamic team, fast pace and cross functional environment.
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving skills, quick thinking, and willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
  • Flexible and Teamwork Mindset, self-discipline, good organizational skills and time management, ability to prioritize when multitasking.
  • Good hands-on experience in Microsoft office competencies.
  • Understanding of IFS ERP system is highly preferred but not essential.
