Job Introduction
Within the Global Marketing function sits our ‘Content Lab’, a growing creative team that provides full inhouse video and design content capability to the business. This role forms an integral part of our Content Lab team. As the digital agenda grows, so will this unit and in turn provide tremendous growth opportunities in all areas of design, social and digital content applications. This team will be renowned for exceptional creativity and efficiency in delivering world class content creation and is key to the success of WG&S digital transformation agenda.
Main Responsibility
The Creative Copy Lead will be responsible for the creation and development of content stories and the creation of content ideas, long and short form, ranging from headlines and body copy for social assets, video content scripts, commercial scripts and mobile applications. You will lead the creative product through world class design principles, inspiring it and developing it. Acting as the brand guardian across all brands, ensuring that work is both creatively outstanding and effective, but also adheres consistently to required brand guidelines
Our Ideal Candidate
We require imaginative curious explorers of the written word, with an Advertising and Communications degree or relevant industry experience. Someone who is passionate about good writing and storytelling, with the ability to write clear, accurate, persuasive copy that can engage different audiences. You will be able to distinguish between a central, core idea and the executional possibilities it gives rise to. An inspirational team player, who can operate effectively under pressure, tight deadlines, tight budgets and client mandatories
