Job Introduction
We have a rarely available and exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Area Leader to join us for a period of 6 months, based out of our Bellshill site, to drive the implementation of the Operations Business Unit (OBU) improvement agenda with particular focus on embedding a continuous improvement program across the whole OBU and building a sustainable continuous improvement culture.
Main Responsibility
- Drive the effective implementation of the Team Performance System and other continuous programs such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Visual Performance Management, 5S and other established continuous improvement practices across function in the OBU
- Develop and deliver training on core CI activities and CI leadership to teams and team leaders
- Provide coaching to teams and team leaders to develop their skills and capabilities to drive the program forward
- Develop standards as required to ensure a consistent implementation across the OBU
- Build strong cross functional relationships and be responsible for embedding a culture of change management that is rigorously adhered to
- Lead the further development and implementation of business systems, resulting in the delivery of real-time information, and the use of that information to drive KPI performance
Our Ideal Candidate
- Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience of ‘Best in Class’ manufacturing techniques, processes and principles
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex problems into simple solutions.
- Strong and demonstrable experience of coaching and capability building
- Experience of effective senior stakeholder management and delivering through others
- Global Leadership experience gained within a FMCG environment.
