Business Intelligence Architect

Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Architect to design, administer and support WGS data representations, profiles and mappings as part of the overall BI solution in order to deliver accurate and timely information to a global customer base.

Main Responsibility

The successful candidate will design, develop, and support WGS Data Warehouse and Power BI to deliver key business information in the required format to facilitate flexible and self-service data information. Deliver technical designs to meet data requirements, providing group consolidation and future growth to demonstrate industry best practice in reporting data structures and design. Contribute towards the overall BI technical design, providing effective data models to support data alignment and availability. Support ETL batch process to load required business data, ensuring compliance to overall design. Implement and protect data governance to include consideration towards Data Protection legislation, Master Data Management and appropriate archiving of corporate and personal information. Be a point of escalation for technical issues.  Proactively share knowledge with other team members, updating and documenting procedures and solutions

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have comprehensive hands-on experience in data warehouse development and support and data security/authentication in an enterprise environment, as well as experience of delivering detailed documented data designs and user guides. A track record of delivering business benefit from consolidated data warehouse designs. Demonstrable experience in data model design including performance and tuning. Experience of working with multiple large scale data warehouse/data migration projects.
